The Serenbe Photography Center in Georgia hosted an invitational exhibition curated by S.Gayle Stevens, Antiquarian and the New Alchemy.
“This invitational exhibit features a broad interpretation of alternative photography and processes. Photography has changed. Silver gelatin printing has become the new alternative process. Whether the works represented here are traditional antiquarian processes or hybrids, it is the element of handwork that sets them apart: The artist’s hand is in evidence in each of these photographs.”
Gayle selected Nocturne #38 for inclusion in the exhibition.

In the waning daylight of December 14, we made Nocturne Number Twenty-Eight. It is produced thanks to the generous support of Donna King Rosser.
Donna is Executive Director of The Serenbe Photography Center, about thirty miles southwest of Atlanta, Georgia. She was the very most welcoming host when Gayle and I were both at Serenbe in August.
