On a roll, we made a last jump at the light on December 14. When dependent on so many independent variables — light, weather, tides, chemicals, and just plain juju, you go until you can’t go any more.
Nocturne Number Twenty-Nine is made thanks to the support of the whiz bang, do-everything-well, Jennifer Shaw, who by her own genius, produces PhotoNOLA every December, and does it to the max. Jennifer, thank you for all YOU do for all of us.
Twenty-Nine is another plate from the Hurricane Isaac inventory.

Each year, in conjunction with PhotoNOLA, the New Orleans Photo Alliance holds a show of its members’ works. This year’s exhibition was juried by Richard McCabe, Curator of Photography at the Ogden Museum. Fourteen artist/teams were selected to send work. Richard chose Nocturnes 1, 2, 4, 7, 8 (Liz Meux), and 9 (Diane Boddy), for the exhibition. Thank you Liz and Diane, the first two to lend your support to these Two Old Women.
The show opened November 30 at the Ogden Museum and continues through January 6.
